A first look at what comes next. Follow the research behind upcoming automated trading systems, from an initial idea to the evidence that decides whether it moves forward.
ROI-to-drawdown ratio = total-period return (1,029.98%) divided by reported maximum equity drawdown (95.90%). The ratio is not annualized.

Historical simulation, not a live trading record. Figures are reproduced from the cTrader report. Backtested results do not predict future performance. Live results can differ because of execution, spreads, fees, and market conditions.
How to read the lab
Three stages of research
Every stage answers a different question. A strong simulation is only the beginning.
Stage 01 · Historical data
Historical simulation
Explore how an idea would have behaved across past market conditions. Results are simulated and depend on the data and assumptions used.
Stage 02 · New observations
Forward testing
Observe the system as new market data arrives. Notes will state the test environment and examine whether the behaviour seen in research persists.
Stage 03 · Assessment
Review & next steps
Evaluate consistency, drawdowns, and execution assumptions. The outcome may be further testing, a revision, or a decision to stop.
